My name is Chiple.  I’m told that is Spanish slang for “spoiled”.  But I’m actually pretty special.  I’m at least 6 years old and a little guy although I’m a little overweight at 5.5 #.  A nice man rescued me from the streets of ABQ and had planned to keep me.  But after a month, they decided it wasn’t going to work so now I’m in a rescue foster home.  I really want to be in my own home.  I don’t know what happened that I was on the streets.  I don’t know where my people went or why they left me.

I’m an easy guy who likes to sleep much of the time.  I’ll alert you when someone is coming to the door.  I am vocal when I want attention.  I sleep through the night and I am partially house trained.  I am also crate trained.  I’m a little nervous when being picked up so just hold me close so I feel safe and secure.  I like to lay on the back of the couch and I prefer to sleep in your bed with you – often under the covers.  I’m OK with other dogs but if they get in my face, I’ll stand up to them.  I may be little but that doesn’t stop me.  I do like to play with other littles.  Do you have a playmate for me?
