I came into foster care on July 4th so I was named after George Washington.  They call  me Georgina.  I am 3 years old and weigh about 9#.  My family surrendered me to the Valencia Shelter and I have no idea why.  I am calm, well-mannered, and peaceful.  I’m a bit nervous and shy, especially at first.  I tolerate other dogs but don’t necessarily want to interact with them.  If they get in my space, I’d rather just go hide out in my crate where I can rest in peace.  I like lap time and I potty outside when I can get outside.  If I can’t get outside, then I will probably potty in the house or in the bedding in my crate.  I will take treats gently but I’m not really food motivated.  I will brave my way through stressful situations when I have no other choice.  Then afterward I will retreat and sleep.  I need someone who will be patient with me until I feel safe enough to relax and be my friendly self.  Is that you?
