My name is Takina.  I am named after a Japanese cartoon character.  I am about 1 year old & weigh around 6#.  I came from Clovis along with my mom who is a great comfort to me.  We were picked up as strays and I am really nervous in all these new situations.  Right now I just want to be near my mom, Chisato, and to be able to see her at all times.  As I get more comfortable and feel more safe, I will be able to show you more of what I like and who I really am.  I want to be held but I am also very scared of all these new people.  I would really like it if Chisato and I could stay together.  Who is willing to take us both and to be patient as we adjust to all these new experiences?
