Hello, I’m Patches.  I am about 3 years old and weigh about 10#.  I arrived with my sister Pinky when we were surrendered by a family here in Albuquerque.  They said they could not take care of us due to other dogs, a cat, and full-time work schedules.  We had lived there for about 3 years so this change is a bit of an adjustment for us. 

I’m a little shy and nervous.  I like it when Pinky is near by even though sometimes she annoys me.  My prior owner said I use the doggy door and am pee pad trained as well as crate trained; however I always ran free inside the house.  We were usually home without people for around 9 or more hours 5 days a week plus some alone time on weekends as well.  So, being around people most of the time is a little new.  I get along with other dogs, cats, men, women, and teens.  I haven’t been in care very long, so my fosters are just starting to get acquainted with me.  If you’d like to know more, submit an application and my foster can give you more information.
