Samson here.  I got that name because I’ve been through so much which shows how strong I am.  Around December 2025 my family moved out of a mobile home park here in ABQ and left me behind.  I don’t know why I couldn’t go along with them.  I waited for them; but they never returned.  For 8 months I kept waiting and hoping.  Some caring people put out food & water for me, but I didn’t trust them.  I just wanted my family.  Now some nice ladies managed to catch me and I’m in foster care. 

I’m not sure who I can trust so I’m a little skittish and shy.  I want to be loved and I want a calm home where I won’t be abandoned again.  I do my business outside most of the time.  I am calm, sleep through the night, and I want attention.  I just need you to be patient as you approach me and would rather that you not stand over me when you reach for me.  I like to play with other pups my size and as I learn to trust you, I’ll come closer to you little by little.  Who will give me a soft place to land in a quiet, calm home and show me who I can trust again?
