I am a partly hairless little Chi they call Fifi.  My family surrendered me because they had to move and I could not go with them.  Although I am thin, I weigh about 8# and the doctor says I’ll probably always be thin like I am now.  They think I was born in 2022 so I’m about 4 years old.  I have been timid and shy while in care; but I have also had days where I welcomed playing and running with the other littles in the foster home.  I like having my crate with blankets that I can curl up in as well as a blanket over part of the crate to make a secluded place for me to rest.  I come and go from it as I choose and sometimes I change crates during the night.  I will do my business outside if you get me out in time.  However, I will also do business inside at times so I still need help with potty training.  We are beginning to work on pee pad training.  I don’t really like a leash as I prefer to be carried if you want me to go somewhere with you.  Toys and treats don’t interest me; but I do like being held and snuggled.  We are still experimenting to find just the right food that I like.  After my dental is done, that may become easier as right now I really can’t chew hard pieces or pieces larger than a pea.  Sometimes I like being around the other dogs and sometimes I just want to rest quietly by myself.  I definitely prefer when the home is quiet and calm.  Being an only fur baby in the home might be just the right ticket for me.  In time, I think I’ll feel more confident and courageous if you can just be patient with me as I still try to adjust to life away from the family I knew.  Right now it’s just hard to know who I can trust.  Are you someone who can help me with this?
